Notorious hackers Kevin Mitnick and Bill Gates were caught trying to attack Harold's place. Harold the savvy admin he is, became aware of them through the online section and took it from there and eventually found out the identities of the elusive hackers.
Harold had this to say, "It's hackers manually searching with Google. One IP was from North Africa or the Mediterranean. I think with this round of hacking it was for bragging rights. " Whether Mitnick and Gates were working together to hack Harold's place is still up for debate. We have contacted them but they both refuse to comment. Keep on the lookout, if they did this once and failed. They will surely try again. Also since this has become public, they will have to succeed or their "cred" will be worthless.

In The Twilight Zone are we. What could explain Harold's actions? It has come to our attention that Harold has been secretly cloning people. For what purpose one can only speculate. Will our clones replace us? Will they sing kumbaya while they dance around our bodies? Will they be evil, or will it be us who turn out the evil ones. Oh.. Twilight, oh Twilight. We don't want to be in the Zone anymore!
Harold had nothing to say but as you can see from the webcam, though he does look rather guilty. Like someone caught with their hand in the cookie jar. When asked to explain himself or at least help us better understand his actions, he looked at us with eyes that seemed to look right through us. He stared at us like that for several moments until we finally left. Perhaps by next week we will get an answer.
McGee you might recognize from the sports section of our paper. Danny McGee is of no relation, though it is a rather odd coincidence. If you don’t believe in coincidences then maybe you’d think up a conspiracy. All we know is we’ve never seen them together, so they could be the same person. He came to work for us before Trallyus and we credit him with bringing Trallyus over. How did he bring him over? Honestly one day Trallyus just showed up.
Anyway, who is Trallyus McGee? I don't feel I'm the person to answer that question so I leave it up to you, the reader to find out for yourself. He has a website, and a livejournal. He seems to like flowers so perhaps the invasion will be in the form of flowers. Then again he likes tutus, packages and spankings. What this says about the form of invasion? Maybe the aliens on this planet reveal themselves in bondage films. Though as far as of yet, we here at Harold Star have not seen any bondage films showing off tutus or flowers. Time will tell and perhaps this is an underground thing so we'll have to dig a little deeper.
What is his ultimate purpose on this planet? I thought we went over this already. He was sent here to ease us into total domination. He will piece by piece not only get us to accept our future slavery, but embrace it as if our own idea. He isn't the only one sent here, as a previous story about Kevin Mitnick has since been buried. One can only speculate as to their involvement. Mitnick has shown to be linked with Bill Gates and Linus Torvalds. Perhaps it is via technology they intend to enslave all of humanity. Sorry for the lacking review here as those who did the story on Kevin Mitnick have since vanished, so many are now reluctant to report on this story about Trallyus.
Trallyus is a dangerous hybrid. He is human but has been given alien powers. He is a danger to other aliens and possibly humans. More so than any other we have encountered. He apparently has the power to make people and other aliens disappear. He also through rumors has the power to fly, walk through walls and some strange power over technology. He speaks their language and can get them to do almost anything. So what is the purpose of these powers? If he is merely the vessel sent here to bend our will, then why have such remarkable powers? Maybe something went wrong and the Trallyus we all know was supposed to be wiped out and replaced by a true alien conscience. Trallyus McGee is an alien hybrid bent on the destruction of our society, for us to serve them, the masters of the universe. Or maybe through a miraculous accident will save our petty human race.
On a side note.. If you ever talk to Trallyus and he mentions a podcast. Well, the truth is he isn't talking about podcasts the way we think of them. Rather, pod is from pod people and cast is from castrate. Which together is alien slang, which means they, the pod people, will castrate or kill us humans. So to enjoy podcasting, is for aliens to enjoy killing humans.

Kristopher: G'day Dizzy, what do you think of the Harold Star?
Dizzy: I like the Harold Star, it may one day enjoy a reputation far above that of Time magazine. I predict big things to come.
Kristopher: You say that it would scare Harold if you admitted to him that he makes you dizzy, still do you not think he would be able to handle it? At least accept it anyway?
Dizzy: I never actually said that Harold makes me dizzy. I do believe my original words were that it would scare him and I would not like to be responsible for the ensuing chaos. I stand by my original statement. Skirting the question? Not at all.
Kristopher: Have you seen the new X-Men movie yet?
Dizzy: Went to see it today and really enjoyed it. Hugh Jackman got his shirt off so I`m happy.
Trallyus: Some say I look like Hugh Jackman only with more body fat.
Kristopher: Umm, well. That's nice to know Trallyus. Thanks for sharing, you'll have to take a few pictures to prove this to Dizzy and make her happy. So umm. To change the subject... So Dizzy what is it like living in Australia?
Dizzy: What`s it like living in Australia? Tough question. There are many things that make us the best country in the world and our sense our humour and self deprecating manner would have to be top of my list. Taking oneself too seriously is decidedly UnAustralian.
Kristopher: We'd like to thank you again for taking the time and talking with us. We will have to further explore this Australian humor in another issue and talk more about Trallyus looking like Hugh Jackman. Until then, "whoever" makes you dizzy (perhaps Trallyus?), hooroo.
Timmy had just arrived at Wesley's doorsteps as he was heading out to save him. The package didn't look anything too special. Leo says it's an early birthday present for Wesley, though that seems unlikely. More likely is that Timmy has been bugged or turned. Will he work against Wesley now? Or maybe Leo was just feeling generous and what better present could you get someone?

It's an early present I said. Stop bugging me! Can't an evil overlord do something good once in a while? Or perhaps my plan is coming together very nicely. No, I didn't just say that. What I meant to say was, I hope Timmy and Wesley the best. Muahah!
There are two birthdays this week. So be sure to wish them a very happy birthday.

Podcasting
Do you use windows and listen to alot of podcasts like me and hate how one podcast is quiet while the next one you listen to makes your ears bleed?
Try http://mp3gain.sourceforge.net
Basically you install it then run it, add a folder of mp3s. Then hit track analysis to have it analyze the tracks then click track gain to apply the changes to all the mp3s. May take a while if you have a huge folder of mp3s or a slow computer. I would suggest using the defaults if you can until you get used to the program.
Gaming Experience
Having a choppy game experience and never remember updating your video drivers and you use xp? Try the following trick. First create a restore point since updating drivers may need to be undone if its not the right one.
Click "Start", right click "My computer" and click properties, Click the "Hardware" tab, and click "Device Manager".
Click "Display Drivers" and your graphics card should show up under it. Click your graphics card until the Properties box shows up and click the "Driver" tab and click "update driver" and choose the "Yes this time only" and click next, click next on the second screen and your computer will try to connect to windows update service to see if their are new drivers for it and after it installs them, you may need to reboot.
If no driver is found then most likely you have the most current driver already and it should tell you that.

Looks like Kristopher topped the charts this week with 83 posts. Wesley came in second with 79, but has a lifetime post count of 6683 posts. Which so happens to be the the leader's birthdate. Plus if you look back at the previous issue you'll notice something quite strange as several people have the same increase of posts over that span of time.

Yep, because they are so tasty. I also like mashed potatoes.
He retired from the military and doesn't want to return but would not trade the experiences and friends he made there for anything. Also he has met a lot of cool folks at Harold's and has many friends there. Who is Trallyus? Well, that is a very tough question. Well the question isn't hard; the answer is beyond our reach. All we can say is he is very caring of other people's feelings, passionate, funny, intelligent and mysterious. Also he laughs a lot. By that we mean... He laughs a lot. And a great friend for anyone to have.
